	<title>OFDW 018 - Master Copy of Diego Rodriguez de Silva Velázquez (1599-1660) Juan de Pareja</title>

Its a mastercopy of  Diego Rodriguez de Silva Velázquez portrait of Juan de Pareja, it took about a total ten hours to create, over a period of five days. 	<title>Lama skull</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/70225/70225_1147556200_small.jpg"><br><br>This llama skull was based on a scanned wax pencil drawing that was drawn form live (or in this case dead) reference, since most of the form building and drawing was done in the scanned drawing, it was pretty easy to replicate that in Photoshop. The challenge laid in trying to create color in the mostly white skull and creating the textural details.<br />

This one was done using a gradual zoom technique, where start you of with your image zoomed out to a very small size and then gradually move inward. It's a nice technique because it keeps you on track with what's important in your image.]]>
